Maria Gabriela is a Venezuelan born architect and designer based in Cambridge, MA. Her work is driven by a passion for history, research and environmental justice.
She believes architecture has a crucial part to play in making people aware of the autonomy and agency they can hold in a space.
After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2018 with two Bachelors degrees -Architecture and Fine Arts, with a Concentration in Sustainability Studies- she moved to New York City and worked with Robert A. M. Stern Architects and later on with Wolfgang & Hite, a NYC based design and specialty fabrication practice specializing in interior architecture, exhibition design, and art production.
She is now completing her Masters Degree as part of the SMArchS Urbanism program at MIT.
